On leaving school Sandra joined the WRAF and qualified as a Dental Nurse. After qualifying she enjoyed postings at home and abroad. She had a short break when her daughter was born before leaving the WRAF, then returned to dental nursing in various practices. Eventually she moved from Cambridgeshire to settle in Yorkshire, working in Pickering before coming to Poppleton. She has seen many changes in dental nursing and her experience is invaluable.
