Martin Bayne is a well established dental surgeon in the York area. He has practised in the region since 1974. He is also a Denplan Practice Adviser and was one of the first 20 in the country to be awarded a Certificate in Dental Practice Assessment.

After moving to York in the early 70's he opened his first practice at Dunnington in 1976, with subsequent expansion on the opening of a Strensall Surgery in 1980.

In 1996 the opportunity to provide a quality service to the residents of Poppleton was seen, and the new practice was established.

In 1997 Martin Bayne and his associate transferred the practice to the purpose built building now occupied on The Green. Rebecca Bayne joined in 2003.

During 2006 Martin Bayne retired from the Bayne and Fisher partnership at Dunnington and Strensall to concentrate his efforts at Poppleton. Colleen Appleyard joined the practice in the summer of 2009.
